Academy Award Predictions

Well, the nominations have been announced and the big publicity surge for it's nominees is well under way. Lots of great choices but here are my predictions of who will come out on top:
BEST PICTURE: THE DEPARTED

BEST ACTOR: FOREST WHITAKER "The Last King of Scotland"

BEST ACTRESS: HELEN MIRREN "The Queen"

BEST BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS; ADRIANA BARRARE "Babel"

BEST DIRECTOR: MARTIN SCORSESE "The Departed"

Well, it's blue Monday. January 22...the most depressing day of the year. Why? You're getting the bills from Christmas, your New Years resolutions aren't working out and the weather sucks! Just another day for me. Has James Brown been buried yet? Last I heard, he was still in his home in a temperature controled room. Unbeleivable! I wonder if he's had any more costume changes! Sorry to hear about the death of Denny Dougherty from "The Mamas and Papas". I was suppose to interview him and I'm sorry we never got around to it. That leaves only one member of the group left, Michelle Phillips (who still looks great!). ...Academy Award nominations will be announced tomorrow...
